What is EAS Charity?

The EAS Charity Committee identifies local needs and co-ordinates charity activities and expenditure. Members volunteer their time at local orphanages and schools.  All funds raised for charity by the EAS are distributed in the Suzhou area, sponsoring two orphanages -  the Suzhou Social Welfare Home (formerly Tiger Hill) and Wuzhong, as well as providing school scholarships and funding healthcare for children in need.

EAS Charity holds two major fundraisers each year, the Casino Night mid-year and the EAS Charity Bazaar at the end of the year. A new annual event, the EAS Charity Spring Bazaar was added to the calendar in 2012.

EAS Charity opened  a Thrift Store in early 2013, open every Thursday 10 am to 2 pm in The German Villas compound, 99 Qionji Lu, SIP.
Nifty Thrifty ... the  EAS Charity Thrift Store!
If you have gently used clothing, shoes, toys, household appliances, or anything you no longer need or have room for let us know. We are now taking donations for the store. All proceeds from this store will go toward upcoming surgeries and any needed charitable project in Suzhou.
If you have a donation please contact EAS Charity at eascharity@gmail.com.
